Native to Delaware, Alysha Morgan is no stranger to the excitement that New York City brings. During her childhood she spent her summers with her grandparents in Coney Island & has always known that New York was the place for her. Her dance journey began at the young age of 4 and she hasn’t slowed down since. She has performed, competed and taught all over the United States.

At the age of 11, at the recommendation of her 5th grade chorus teacher, Alysha auditioned and booked her first musical theater job. Her life was forever changed. That same year, Alysha began middle school at Cab Calloway School of the Arts in Wilmington, Delaware as a Dance major and Insrtrumental minor. For the next seven years of her life, their performing arts program opened her eyes to all of the possibilities of becoming a professional performer. She traveled to dance festivals, witnessed professional dance companies, and occasionally visited the concrete jungle to see shows on Broadway. During those years, she was given endless opportunities to collaborate with other artists in the program and choreograph on other dancers.

While in college at Virginia Commonwealth University she was, once again, given endless opportunities to showcase herself as a dancer and choreographer. During those years at VCU, she taught ballet, tap & jazz at local dance studios. As a head instructor for Eastern Cheer & Dance Association, she choreographed dances for their curriculum & traveled the East coast to teach at multiple high school dance teams. But something about her college experience made Alysha change her mind about NYC, at least for a bit.

Upon completion of her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science, she started her career in Los Angeles, California. There she signed with Go2Talent Agency and booked several National commercials. It wasn’t until she booked her first musical theater contract, 6 months into living in LA, that she realized how much she wanted to be in New York again. She was ready for the move back to the East Coast.

Now permanently residing in Harlem, Alysha is a certified personal trainer and is living her daydream as an actor/choreographer in her favorite city. She just completed the pre-Broadway tour of A Wonderful World as Dance Captain and Assistant Tap Choreographer. Her mantra is: “Believe in the person you want to become.” It is a full time job believing in yourself, but through hard work & perseverance, all of your dreams are reachable. If you want it, go get it.
